Can I choose picture from gallery?
If you use mobile application you have to be close to the dumpsite to make a report or an update. But you can use our web application to add reports or update dumps from home and upload picture from your computer. Login here to do that: https://admin.trashout.ngo/
Why is the app not available in my language?
Trashout mobile app is available in English, Slovak, Czech, Russian, Spanish, German, French, Italian. App will be the same language as you use for your phone settings. Adding additional languages requires certain time and financial resources for implementation. Typically new language is translated by volunteers, if you wish to help get in touch. If you wish to know conditions and process of adding new language please contact us at: [email protected].
The location coordinates are wrong, how can I correct them?
Currently there is not way how to correct GPS coordinates. Please send us email at [email protected] with link to report you wish to delete and link to new one. Pictures should be ideally similar so we can assess whether it is the same place. Link has to contain ID of the report (=number in the link). In this link https://admin.trashout.ngo/trash-management/detail/53850 ID is 53850. We need to know ID or link to both old one to be removed and new one.
How can I add recycling bins or centers in my country?
and feel free to add bins or centers. We plan to add this feature to the phone as well, once we manage to get funding for it.
I am representative of state or municipality. How can I benefit from TrashOut?
Sure. First, you can check already reported dumps in your area and update them whether they are still there or they are cleaned. You can create profile where instead of name you will use name of your city or village - this way users in your area will know that you care. Moreover you can set email notifications from your profile from our admin web: https://admin.trashout.ngo/my-profile/
How can I set email notifications and what is in them?
Log in here: https://admin.trashout.ngo/my-profile/ with the same info as you used on your mobile. From the profile section click button 'Add Areas of Interest'in the top right corner and select what area you wish to monitor and how often (monthly, weekly, daily) you wish to get an email. Email is very informative divided into 3 sections:
Reported dumps
Updated dumps
Cleaned dumps
containing picture, address and link to our admin application
How can I delete my account?
Log in here: https://admin.trashout.ngo/my-profile/ with the same info as you used on your mobile. From the profile section click button 'Edit 'in the top right corner and then click 'Delete Profile' in the top right corner. This is permanent action. We cannot renew your account.
