What is TrashOut

TrashOut is an environmental project which aims to map all illegal dumps around the world and help citizens recycle more. Thanks to TrashOut, all people can have real impact on their environment, all you need is a smartphone.

Why did we start TrashOut?

Illegal dumps are a serious problem and each year we produce more and more waste. Dumps are often found in places without an address, without an easy way how to report them so getting rid of them can be next to impossible. We decided to create a simple tool that allows people to map, report and clean these dumps wherever they find them - TrashOut.

What is our vision?

Our vision is a clean and sustainable planet for everyone. We intend to do this by helping to get rid of all the illegal trash in the world and by teaching people how to dispose of their waste the right way. One of the best ways to help our planet is to reduce our waste generation and recycle the rest. Let's all contribute so next generations will inherit a clean and sustainable planet.
